The Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting today, Sunday, chaired by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC.
At the beginning of its meeting, the Presidium stood before the latest internal and external developments in the political scene, the endeavours being made by regional and international mediators to cease the war and establish peace, and the movements related to the cause of the people of the South in the light of the report submitted by the Political Department of the General Secretariat.
In this regard, the Presidium of the STC reiterated its welcome to any efforts that lead to a permanent ceasefire and establish a comprehensive and sustainable peace process in which the cause of the South should be present in all the phases within its own negotiating framework, underscoring in the context the rapid formation of the joint negotiating delegation to assume responsibility for the negotiating process in all its details.
