STC’s Supreme Economic Committee Holds Its Periodic Meeting

The Supreme Economic Committee (SEC) in the Southern Transitional Council (STC), on Wednesday, in the capital Aden, held its periodic meeting, chaired by Dr. Mohammed Ali Mattash, head of the SEC.
The meeting reviewed several of the important reports, and certain tasks assigned by the president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, regarding the draft matrix for implementing recommendations of the Decision-Making Support Center.
Similarly, the meeting focused on preparing a strategic plan to expand wheat cultivation, specifically in Hadramaut and Shabwa governorates, in addition to developing water sources.
The meeting dealt with a report of the team assigned to go to Bir Nasser water field, which has reached a conclusion that the Supreme Economic Committee should approve the vital implementing of recommendations of the team.
