STC’s Supreme Economic Committee Holds Periodic Meeting of February 2023

SMA NEWS – ADEN THE CAPITAL
The Supreme Economic Committee (SEC) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting on Monday, in the capital Aden, for the month of February, chaired by Dr. Mahmood Mohammed Gubari, deputy head of the Industry, Trade and Investment Committee in the SEC.

The meeting denounced the statements of the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Rashad Al-Alimi, in which he ripped the bandaid off his opposition to the just cause of the people of the South and his disavowing of Riyadh consultations, underscoring that the option of the people of the South, for which ultimate sacrifices of trains of blessed martyrs and wounded have been made, is a red line and will never accept to be infringed or undermined.

Furthermore, the meeting discussed the possibility of better space utilization in factories for real investment, especially those whose owners neither pay the specified official fees nor executing committed obligations to establish the investment projects, and vice versa, encouraging committed investors to establish more projects.

The meeting, too, reviewed a range of topics and reports included in its agenda, the activities of the SEC between the last and current meetings and what has been accomplished during the past period, as well as approving the minutes of the previous meeting after taking into account the raised remarks and comments.
