Supreme Committee for Relief and Humanitarian Action of STC launches distributing food baskets to families of martyrs of the South

The Supreme Committee for Relief and Humanitarian Action of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), on Wednesday, in the capital, Aden, inaugurated a project to distribute food baskets to the families of martyrs in the governorates of the South, under the auspices and support of President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council.

At the inauguration, the member of the Presidency of STC, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Relief and Humanitarian Action, Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, stressed that this inauguration came under direct directives from President Al-Zubaidi, who pays great attention to the families of the southern martyrs and the wounded who sacrificed themselves for the sake of restoring the southern state.

Al-Kaf indicated that 22,000 food baskets were prepared to be distributed to the families of the southern martyrs in all governorates of the South, according to the lists of deserved, who were monitored, counted, and identified through the competent authorities in the Transitional Council.

Al-Kaf added that the baskets will go to the various governorates of the South, to be received by the relief committees of STC in the governorates and the executive bodies of the Transitional Council there, to be distributed to the families of the martyrs.

The families of the martyrs expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, led by President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, for this humanitarian gesture and his continuous and generous care and support for the families of the martyrs in the South.
