Supreme Committee for Relief and Humanitarian Works of STC inaugurates distribution of food baskets to families of martyrs

The Supreme Committee for Relief and Humanitarian Works of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), on Saturday, under the auspices of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, inaugurated the distribution of food baskets to the families of the martyrs of the South.

During the inauguration, which took place in the capital, Aden, in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Shayef, member of the Supreme Relief Committee, and Mr. Aad Haitham, the committee’s rapporteur, head of the Social Affairs Department at the General Secretariate of STC Presidency, Mr. Osama Bin Brik, head of the Martyrs and Wounded Department at the General Secretariate, delivered a speech, in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation to President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi for his sponsorship and support in providing the food baskets for the families of the martyrs.

Bin Brik stressed, during his speech, that the process of distributing food baskets to the families of the martyrs, which was launched in the capital, Aden, will include all governorates of the South, noting that this is a national and humanitarian duty in view of the sacrifices made by the martyrs for the sake of the freedom, dignity and independence of the South.
