Supreme Economic Committee holds its periodic meeting for September

The Supreme Economic Committee of the Southern Transitional Council, on Wednesday, held its periodic meeting for the month of September, in the capital, Aden, headed by Dr. Mohammed Ali Matash, Chairman of the Committee.
At the beginning of the meeting, the attendees stood for a minute of mourning, during which they read Al-Fatihah for the soul of the martyr Brigadier General Hadar Al-Showhati and the souls of the martyrs of the heroic Security Belt Forces in Abyan Governorate.
At the same time, the attendees praised the important victories achieved in the governorates of Shabwa and Abyan under the leadership of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed and Security Forces, and Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council.
Then the meeting got briefed on a report submitted by the Chairman of the Committee on its activities between the two meetings, urging them to exert more efforts in these delicate circumstances that we are going through, calling on everyone to submit studies and visions to mobilize revenues to the treasury of the Central Bank in the capital, Aden, and its branches with an emphasis on continuing to eradicate corruption related to corporate institutions in particular.
The meeting stood before the causes leading to the rise in oil derivatives, as the Economic Committee presented to the responsible authorities a number of solutions that will contribute to reducing the prices of oil derivatives.
The meeting also discussed reports submitted by the sub-committees, including report on dates factory project in Hadhramaut Governorate, in addition to reports related to field visits to the water fields in Bir Ahmed and Aden International Airport.
