Supreme Economic Committee of the Southern Transitional Council holds its periodic meeting

The Supreme Economic Committee of the Southern Transitional Council held, on Wednesday, its periodic meeting at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, headed by Dr. Mohammad Ali Matash, head of the committee.
The meeting discussed a number of the work carried out by the committee, including the activities that have been implemented with several parties related to the committee’s work both internally and externally, in addition to discussing priority economic and service projects that the country and the southern citizens can benefit from.
The meeting stressed the need to follow up on economic research and studies, and pay attention to this aspect that serves the economy and develops its activity in all fields.
The meeting touched on the latest developments related to the economic aspect and the factors affecting it, as well as the most prominent economic issues and obstacles, and how to deal with them as needed, with appropriate treatments and solutions available to overcome them.
During the meeting, a number of proposals related to the committee’s work program were discussed, in addition to the minutes of the committee’s previous meeting that were reviewed and approved.
