Supreme Economic Committee of the Transitional Council holds extraordinary meeting headed by Dr. Matash

The Supreme Economic Committee of the Southern Transitional Council, on Wednesday, held an extraordinary meeting, in the capital, Aden, headed by Dr. Mohammad Ali Matash, Chairman of the Committee.
The meeting discussed the construction process in the areas surrounding Aden International Airport, reviewing the report of the Transport Committee, and the recommendations made by it in the same regard.
The report of the Transport Committee touched on the irresponsible construction process taking place in the areas that fall within the airport, stressing the need to prevent the establishment of random and illegal new construction in the vicinity of the airport, which leads to its damage, especially as the Airport is considered the main and investment interface for the capital, Aden.
In the meeting, the Chairman of the Economic Committee praised the role played by the committees of the Supreme Economic Committee in the tasks entrusted to them in accordance with the plan approved in advance, stressing the importance of completing the remainder of their previous assignments as soon as possible.
The committee stood before the deteriorating economic conditions that the South is experiencing during this period, in which led to increasing the suffering on the shoulders of the citizens, especially in light of the accelerating collapse of the value of the local currency that negatively affected the rest of the economic aspects.
