The commander of the security belt in Al-Sabiha of Lahj governorate Sheikh Waddah Omar Al-Subaihi revealed the reasons for the tension in Tor Al-Baha district.

Al-Subaihi said that the belt forces went to Al-Khattabiya camp in Tor Al-Baha stage, in implementation of the directives issued to them to be in the camp, but they were surprised that elements affiliated to the governor of Lahj Ahmed Al-Turki tried to drag them into fight.

The commander of the Sabiha belt clarified that Al-Turki has been refusing for six months to hand over the Al-Khattabiya camp to the security belt forces that are camping in temporary locations in Sabiha areas, despite instructions from the coalition and the regional leadership to hand over the camp to the belt because it is currently empty and belongs to security, not to the army.

Sheikh Waddah denied the claims of the reformist sites with the failure of the process of receiving and handing over the camp, confirming that tribal authorities had asked for a week to persuade the other party to hand over, as we avoided, as much as possible, an attempt to drag us into the clash.
