Terrorist cell is arrested for attempt to assassinate security leader

A terrorist cell is arrested on Thursday, in Dar Saad district of the capital, Aden, for attempting to assassinate a high-ranking security officer in Lahj, with an explosive device.
A security force arrested the suspects after placing the explosive device inside Makrad near the house of the security official on Al-Midan Street in Dar Saad district.
A security source revealed that the cell members detonated the explosive device at a late hour earlier, before they fled, and a large explosion occurred, resulting in the injury of the victim with various injuries and first-degree burns.
