The 1st Brigade of Backup and Support inaugurates second training phase for the year 2021 with military parade

The First Brigade inaugurated the second training phase for the year 2021, on Saturday, by holding a military parade for some of the brigade’s units at its headquarters in Al-Jalaa camp in the capital, Aden.

The brigade showed its forces by setting up a majestic military parade for symbolic units that demonstrated their readiness and dealing with all security conditions, in the field of combating terrorism, protecting personalities and dealing with all weapons.

In a speech to the commander of the First Brigade, Brigadier General Nasr Atef Al-Yafei, he prayed for mercy on the souls of the martyrs of the brigade’s members, led by the founding commander, Brigadier General Munir Abu Al-Yamama, who was credited after Allah in establishing a military brigade that sets an example in order, discipline and strength, stressing his progress behind the leadership of the political representative, represented by the President of the Transitional Council, the Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, Major General Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, and the Commander of the Support Forces, Brigadier General Mohsen Al-Wali, to defend the southern homeland and its gains that have been achieved.

Atef saluted the commanding and patriotic spirit enjoyed by the members of the brigade, which they showed and are still presenting in many events, sites and fronts, the most important of which is his participation in the liberation of Aden from terrorist elements, as well as Lahj, Abyan and Yafea, reaching Shabwa governorate, whose heroes played a major role in confronting the Brotherhood’s militias in Abyan front, where they did well.

At the end of the event, the martyrs and wounded of the brigade who fell on the Abyan front were honored with commemorative shields handed over to their families, in addition to honoring a number of prominent unit commanders.
