The Administrative Court issues a ruling repealing the Prime Minister’s directives

The Administrative Court in the capital, Aden, issued An urgent judgement decision to cancel the directives of Prime Minister Moen Abdul-Malik regarding the suspension of the Director General of the Investment Authority in Lahj governorate from his job, issued on March 1, 2022.

The Administrative Court held its public session, on Sunday, headed by Judge Khalil Abdul Latif, to consider the urgent administrative lawsuit submitted by the Director General of the General Investment Authority branch in Lahj governorate Nazih Abdulaziz Al-Shaabi against the Prime Minister, Moen Abdul-Malik, to cancel the Prime Minister’s directives to suspend Al-Shaabi from work and the consequences thereof.

After reading the text of the case and listening to the statements of the Director-General of the Investment Authority in Lahj governorate, Nazih Al-Shaabi, the Administrative Court in the urgent preliminary ruling issued by it on Sunday, ordered the cancellation of all directives issued by Prime Minister Abdul-Malik, and the operative order to return the investment manager Nazih Al-Shaabi to start his job and cancel all directives issued to suspend and addressed a letter to both the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Legal Affairs.

The court also ordered the return of Al-Shaabi to exercise his job in the branch of the General Investment Authority in Lahj in a natural manner, provided that the court completes the decision in the urgent case by him after the end of the judicial leave on June 20, 2022.
