The Arab Ally Sends Military and Security Enforcements to Al-Mehra and Sources Reveal the Mission of the Forces Sent to Al-Ghaida

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Al-Mehra – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] A local source indicated that the Arab Ally, under commandership of Saudi Arabia, sent military and security enforcements to Al-Mehra for supporting security and fighting terrorist activities in the governorate. The source, who preferred not to be mentioned by name, indicated that the enforcements sent to Al-Mehra, by the borders of Oman, arrived late in Monday night to Al-Ghaida, coming from Hadhramaut. He added that enforcements included military vehicles and equipment.
Another media source indicated that the enforcements included only a small number of military personnel who will run the airport in preparation to reopening it. He added that Al-Mehra Elites Forces didn’t arrive at Al-Mehar yet as they are still under intensive training in Al-Khaledia camp – Hadhramaut.
Enforcement were sent after a meeting between Sheikh Mohamed Keddah, governor of Al-Mehra and high rank officers of the joint leadership of the Arab Ally in Saudi Arabia, according to a media statement by Al-Mehra governorate on Monday. The statement indicated that the Arab Ally aims to support security and stability of Al-Mehra and to stop smuggling operations occurring in this area with support of Al-Mehra Tribes.
