The Central Bank stops dealing with a number of banks

The Central Bank in the capital, Aden, decided on Thursday, to stop dealing with a number of banks and exchangers for violating the laws and continuing to deal with the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
The Bank announced the cessation of dealing in the old paper currency in the liberated governorates, directing its withdrawal within a maximum period of sixty days.
It called on citizens and commercial entities to quickly deposit their old denomination amounts in commercial banks and their branches spread across the governorates.
The Central Bank stressed that it does not bear any responsibility resulting from not dealing seriously with the content of the decision to stop dealing in the old currency.
