Ali Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Chairman of the National Assembly, visited the Southern Radio and Television Sector on Thursday, where he inspected its various departments, stressing his appreciation for the efforts to develop the southern media
During his meeting with Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, Head of the Sector, and his deputy, Mohammed Al-Amoudi, Al-Kathiri expressed his condolences on the death of the late southern media figure, the fighter Saleh Awad Al-Nakhibi, Deputy Director of the Programs Department at Aden Independent Channel.
The deceased passed away due to a sudden stroke last Monday, after a life full of giving and national struggle.
Al-Kathiri appreciated the efforts of the late Al-Nakhibi throughout his eventful career, stressing that he was an example of a media professional and fighter committed to national issues, praising his fingerprints and exploits that will remain a witness to his dedication to serving the south and its people.
