The Chairman of the National Assembly of STC meets with a number of Hadramaut sons studying at Military College in the capital, Aden

Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), met on Saturday, with a number of Hadramaut sons from various units of the elite forces and brigades of the Second Military Region, who are studying at the Military College in the capital, Aden.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman of the National Assembly welcomed the students, conveying to them the greetings of President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, his deputies, and the leaders of the Transitional Council.

Al-Kathiri pointed to the role played by the Southern Armed Forces since its founding in 1971, and the heroics and epics they carried out in defending the nation’s defenses and preserving its security and stability, noting that their role today complements the role of their predecessors in the Southern Armed Forces.

The Chairman of the National Assembly affirmed that the Southern Armed Forces today stand on solid ground and are achieving great victories in the face of all the forces of evil and darkness under the leadership of the Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, who pays great attention to training and qualification, and is keen to provide them with all aspects of support.

Al-Kathiri praised the great achievements and overwhelming victories achieved by the Hadhrami Elite Forces in the battle for liberation and establishing the foundations of security and stability in the districts of Hadramaut Coast, stressing the importance of Hadramaut and its pioneering role in its people and cadres in various fields, in the present and future of the nation, as it has always been.

Al-Kathiri pointed out that the leadership of the Transitional Council gives Hadramaut special status and attention as it is the beating heart of the South, and its scientific, cultural, historical, and economic value, noting that the leadership of the STC closely follows all the issues and difficulties that citizens in the governorate suffer from and places them at the top of its list of priorities.

For their part, the military students expressed their thanks to the Chairman of the National Assembly for giving him the opportunity to meet with him to raise their concerns and problems and listen to their ideas and opinions, noting that the number of military students in the 52nd batch from Hadramaut Governorate is 56 students.

The students affirmed their adherence to the cause of their people and national constants, and their willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect and secure their land, and to defend it in all positions of honor and heroism.
