The Chamber of Commerce discusses with the Center for Environmental Studies At the University of Aden, ways of coordination and joint cooperation

The Aden Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a meeting with the Center for Environmental and Climate Studies at the University of Aden to discuss ways of coordination and joint cooperation between the two parties.
In the meeting held at the headquarters of the Center for Environmental and Climate Studies at the University of Aden and bringing together Engineer Ashraf Khanbari – Deputy Director General of the Aden Chamber of Commerce and Industry with Dr. Fawaz Abdullah Bahumaish – Director of the Center, Engineer Ashraf stressed the interest of the Chamber of Commerce and its Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Abu Bakr Baabid, in research and studies that explore the needs of the private sector and its institutions and work To enhance its role in the economic and development aspect, stressing the keenness of the Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and the private sector in general to do everything that benefits society and provide its needs in a way that is in the public interest.
For his part, Dr. Fawaz Abdullah Bahumaish conveyed the greetings of the President of the University of Aden, Dr. Al-Khader Nasser, to Sur and his appreciation for the efforts of the private sector in the scientific and academic aspect, which was evident from the Chamber of Commerce’s participation in the University of Aden conference on keeping up with university education for the labor market. Dr. Fawaz Abdullah Bahumaish reviewed the history of the center, its organizational structure, and its distinguished staff, as well as the work and activities of the center and highlighted His achievements that he achieved during the last period, including partnerships and understandings between the Center and local and international organizations and institutions through which he was able to provide his research, scientific and advisory services to those parties through the trainings organized by the Center and its role in the consultation and capacity building aspect that it implemented and the studies and research that it prepared and participated in.
During the meeting, the two parties stressed the importance of strengthening the relationship between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Center for Environmental and Climate Studies in the advisory, training and research aspects, in line with the directions of the Chamber of Commerce and the private sector and the capabilities and abilities of the Center for Environmental and Climate Studies.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Engineer Ashraf, accompanied by Dr. Fawaz, toured around the center, where he learned about the fully equipped training halls prepared to host all types of courses and training, the buffet and lecture halls, and the administrative offices. He also learned about the center’s research and scientific equipment, in addition to the center’s strategic plans And his ambitions, a large part of which are linked to the Chamber of Commerce and the private sector, praising the center’s capabilities in terms of infrastructure and capabilities in implementing various projects, programs and studies related to it.
