The Committee appointed by Transitional Council to oversee trade, industry and markets sector begins its work in the capital Aden
The subcommittee of the Supreme Economic Committee in the Southern Transitional Council, charged with overseeing the trade, industry and markets sector, headed by Dr. Saudi Ali Obaid, Head of the Committee, began its work on Thursday, with a visit to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the capital Aden.
In its visit, the committee met with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abu Bakr Ba-Obaid, in which Dr. Saudi Ali Obaid, gave a brief overview of the purpose of this visit, and explained the role and importance of self-administration, and the importance that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry holds as a partner in the process of development and drawing economic policies.
for his part, Abu Bakr Ba-Obaid, presented a brief explanation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry activity, reviewing a number of difficulties facing the chamber’s work and its future aspirations.
At the end of the meeting, both sides stressed on the need for continuous communication between the committee and the Chamber of Commerce in a way that serves the citizens in the capital Aden, and the south in general.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed Jobbari and Karem Abdel-Haq, the members of the Trade, Industry, and Markets Sector Committee.
