The Cultural Department carries out field visit to Protestant Church in Salah al-Din

Upon directives of Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General, the Cultural Department of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, implemented on Wednesday, a field visit to the Protestant Church in Salah al-Din area of Burika district in Aden the capital.
The visit included Mr. Amr Aqeel, head of the Cultural Department, along with the head of ROA Center for Studies and Research and Head of “My Identity” initiative, Dr. Jacqueline Al-Batani, and Mr. Adel Jaafar, Head of Transitional Council in Burika district, in which they got briefed on the conditions of this historical landmark in the capital, Aden, and monitored what it was exposed to of sabotage and random construction works. .
The head of the cultural department and his companions, on the sidelines of their field visit to the Salah al-Din area, inspected the cemetery of British officers and water tanks overlooking the Silence Valley.
It is worth noting that this visit comes within the framework of the Transitional Council’s interest in preserving southern historical monuments and highlighting the societal coexistence that characterized Aden as incubator for all religions and sects.
