The delegation accompanying President Al-Zubaidi meets in New York members of the southern community

The Southern Transitional Council (STC) team, accompanying President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi on his visit to the United States, met on Thursday, with members of the southern community in New York State.
The STC team praised the role of the southern community in the United States, and New York State in particular, in supporting the Council’s position abroad, and communicating with decision-makers at the international level.
The team reviewed the developments of the comprehensive political process, the difficult economic and living conditions in the south, and President Al-Zubaidi’s efforts in cooperation with brothers and friends to limit their exacerbation.
The team of STC stressed the Council’s position in support of achieving a just and lasting peace in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions, and in a way that leads to a two-state solution, stressing that the Houthi militia supported by Iran continues to undermine efforts to achieve peace in the south, Yemen and the region.
They pointed out the continued attacks by the terrorist Houthi militia on the positions of the southern forces, and the international navigation in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab and the Gulf of Aden.
The meeting was attended by Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, head of the Reconciliation Consultation Authority, Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, head of the Political Aid Authority of the Presidency of STC, head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, Anis Al-Sharafi, deputy head of the Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Authority of the Transitional Council, and Dr. Ahmed Atef, representative of the Transitional Council at the United Nations.
