The Director General of Aden International Airport, Mr. Abdul Raqeeb Al-Omari, denied the news circulating about the arrival of 95 passengers from China to Aden Airport, which was published in some local sites.

Al-Omari stated that there are no direct flights from Aden to China, and that travelers pass through several countries and undergo several checks before they arrive in Aden.

He confirmed that he had issued a circular banning entry to any travelers from the countries where the epidemic had spread before being subjected to medical procedures, and preventing entry to any foreign citizen except with a health declaration until further notice.

The general manager of the airport had discussed with the World Health Organization and the Director of Health in Aden the way to confront the Corona virus, and a room was set up to check passengers and support them with all the necessary equipment to prevent the spread, and ensure the health and safety of travelers.
