The General Secretariat holds its periodic meeting chaired by Al-Jaadi

The General Secretariat of the Presidincy of the Southern Transitional Council held on Monday, its periodic meeting chaired by Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, the Assistant Secretary-General.

Al-Jaadi praised the steadfastness of the southerners in the difficult conditions facing the south, which are being put in place as a response against the political victory achieved by the Transitional Council in the Riyadh Agreement, indicating that the Transitional Council is working to implement the agreement in accordance with its provisions, while the other side seeks to undermine it through some actions that inflame the situation in all areas.

Al-Jaadi affirmed that the government and the coalition had not responded to the demands of the southern military who had served and provided their most valuable efforts for the homeland, reiterating that the Southern Transitional Council stands with their just demands.

Al-Jaadi stressed on the need to work quickly to improve services, move away from temporary solutions, and provide radical solutions to the suffering of citizens.

The meeting discussed a number of issues, especially those related to the citizens’ standard of living, foremost of which is the level of services and the difficulties that the citizens face in this aspect.

The meeting reviewed a report on the economic scene during the past two weeks submitted by the Economic Department, which dealt with several issues, including poor services provided to citizens and their unavailability as required, in addition to the high foreign exchange rate against the local currency and its reflection on the citizen’s conditions of live and the proposed solutions to deal with the current economic situation.

The meeting discussed developments in the southern, regional and international arenas, as well as reviewed reports on the activities of the General Secretariat departments during the past week.
