The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held, on Monday, its periodic meeting, headed by Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, the Deputy Secretary-General.
At the beginning of the meeting, the attendees stood for a minute of silence to recite Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs who died in the attack carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia on the training camp at Al-Anad base, praying to the Allah Almighty to grant the wounded a speedy recovery.
Al-Jaadi stressed during the meeting that this sinful attack will not discourage the Transitional Council from continuing the path towards achieving the aspirations of the people of the south in restoring their full sovereignty state, and the Council will take steps and measures that protect the sovereignty and security of the southern lands, calling on the leadership of the coalition to ensure fulfilling its duty to deter such criminal acts, and supporting the southern military institution with the air defense system to secure the camps and vital civilian facilities in the south to thwart such plans in the future.
The meeting reviewed the economic scene report submitted by the Economic Department, which dealt with the process of monitoring the banking process for buying and selling currencies in exchange shops, as well as the decision to raise the selling prices of fuel and the procedures that indicate opening a new telecommunications company in the south and the protests carried out by the military members in front of the Central Bank for not paying their salaries to them.
