The General Secretariat holds its weekly meeting chaired by Lamlas
The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held on Sunday its weekly meeting in Aden the capital, headed by the Secretary-General, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, and in the presence of Fadhl Mohammad Al-Jadi, Assistant Secretary-General.
The meeting discussed the weekly achievement reports submitted by the General Secretariat departments for the past week, as well as the most important activities to be implemented during the next week.
The Secretary-General reviewed the performance evaluation of the General Secretariat departments for their most important activities accomplished during the past year 2019, and the Secretary-General stressed on the need to work harder for the cause of the people of the south and the demand of the restoration of the South state.
The meeting welcomed the signing of the mechanism for implementing the Riyadh Agreement for the military part, which included the withdrawal of the forces affiliated with the Islah Party from the governorates of Abyan and Shabwa.
The meeting touched upon a set of proposals and recommendations submitted by the departments, which would address many issues, and overcome the difficulties facing the workflow, and improve the level of performance.
