The General Secretariat of STC Discusses Latest Developments in the Southern Political Scene

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regular meeting on Monday, at its headquarters in the capital, Aden. The meeting was chaired by Major General Kamal Hamshari, member of the Presidency and Acting Secretary-General of the General Secretariat.
The meeting discussed a report on the latest developments in the southern political scene during the first half of March 2025, submitted by the Political Department. The report reviewed the dimensions and results of the visits made by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, accompanied by Transitional Council ministers in the government, to the southern governorates. The visit also examined their conditions and addressed the challenges and difficulties facing them at all levels.
The meeting addressed a number of developments and miscellaneous issues in the southern national arena, in addition to reviewing the work of the General Secretariat departments during the past week and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
