The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), on Wednesday, held its periodic meeting in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Fadl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General.

The meeting got briefed on the meetings held by the General Secretariat departments with different parties, personalities and groups, and its outcomes that aimed at the general benefit of the southern community and its interests.

The Deputy Secretary-General praised the possible efforts made to solve the problems experienced by the southern community, stressing the importance of working in accordance with the law and providing everything possible to achieve the desired aspirations that are in the interest of the cause of the South and its people.

The meeting also previewed the political scene report submitted by the Political Department during the past two weeks, which included the most prominent issues and political developments on the southern arena and that are related to the southern issue.

The meeting reviewed the weekly activity report of the departments of the General Secretariat, and reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting.
