The General Secretariat reviews political scene and discusses preparations to commemorate Independence Day

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting on Wednesday, in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Fadl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, the Deputy Secretary-General.
The meeting reviewed a report submitted by the Political Department on the political scene, which dealt with the most prominent political developments on the southern arena, including the invitation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the President of the Transitional Council, President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, to visit the Kingdom, as well as the public meeting of the people of Shabwa and its statement that was blessed by the Council, in addition to a number of other issues and political developments related to the South and its cause.
The meeting discussed a report on the work performance of the Department of Youth and Students within the third semester of current year, which included the most prominent activities and achievements of the department during the months of July, August, and September of the year 2021.
The meeting got briefed on the readiness to celebrate the 54th anniversary of the National Independence Day, November 30, in which the attendees put forward a number of proposals related to the event and how to be presented in a way that suits it.
The meeting reviewed the weekly activities reports of the departments of the General Secretariat, the recommendations and assignments related to them, and reviewed and approved its previous minutes.
