The General Secretariat reviews the report on the political scene in the southern national arena

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its regular meeting on Tuesday, in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Shaqi, Assistant Secretary-General of the General Secretariat.
The meeting reviewed the report on the political scene in the southern national arena, submitted by the Political Department. The report included the most prominent developments in various aspects and at all internal and external levels related to the southern issue and the people of the south, including a number of points and fabricated issues against the south and its people.
During the meeting, Mr. Lahmar bin Lasoud, Head of the Transitional Council Executive Authority in Shabwa Governorate, explained the progress of the body’s work and the latest social, security, and service developments in the governorate. He also explained ways to enhance and develop its work and address all difficulties and challenges facing the body’s work in the governorate.
The meeting discussed various developments in the southern scene, emphasizing the need to strengthen political and societal action and awareness in the face of the media attacks targeting the south and its symbols, which seek to destabilize security and undermine southern unity. The minutes of the previous meeting were also reviewed and approved.
