The governor of Aden the capital discusses security measures to protect organizations’ offices

Ahmed Lamlas, Governor of the capital, Aden, on Wednesday, discussed during his meeting with the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations for Safety and Security, Gilles Michaud, in the capital’s office, security measures to protect the offices of international and international organizations.
He stressed the keenness of the local authority in the capital, Aden, to provide security measures to protect the offices of organizations and humanitarian workers, facilitate their tasks, coordinate local plans, and achieve the maximum benefit from donors.
Lamlas said that security work has witnessed a significant improvement compared to what it was before, adding that addressing the economic situation and improving living conditions will push towards achieving more stability in the capital, Aden, and the entire country.
The two sides discussed the current security and economic situation, and working mechanisms to develop solutions to establish security and stability and improve the economic status.
In turn, Michaud praised the local authority’s keenness to provide mechanisms to protect workers in international organizations, stressing his keenness to listen to the leadership of the local authority and learn about its priorities.
The meeting was participated by Deputy Director of Aden Security, Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr, and the Governor’s Advisor for International Organization Affairs, Reda Jamil Hajib.
