The Governor of Aden the capital meets executive office and directs to raise readiness

The Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, on Tuesday, during his meeting with the Executive Office of the capital, Aden, got briefed on developments in service and security issues, and dealing with urgent priorities to maintain the stability of services.
Lamlas called for increasing the pace of field work and quickly dealing with citizens’ issues, as a moral duty, directing us to increase readiness to deal with rain and weather conditions, in accordance with warnings from meteorological centers.
The Executive Office discussed the danger of the spread of gas filling stations in residential neighborhoods, the necessity of reconsidering their locations, and preventing the issuance of licenses for them, in addition to dealing with the issue of drilling private wells in homes, and emphasizing automated handling of the collection and delivery of revenues.
Eng. Mohammed Bakhbira, Director of the Water and Sanitation Corporation, revealed the treatment of Haqqat desalination plant with a capacity of 900 cubic meters per day, and the completion of the maintenance and rehabilitation of 20 replacement wells shared equally between the Saudi program and Kuwaiti aid, in addition to two wells in the Corporation’s projects.
The security director of the capital, Aden, reviewed a report on security measures during the holy month of Ramadan and preparations for Eid al-Fitr, stressing community cooperation to enhance the security message and the effective role of the traffic police.
For his part, the Director of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund presented the ongoing work plan and arrangements for Eid al-Fitr, in addition to the ongoing preparations to deal with rainwater and floods.
