The Governor of Al-Mahra reassures about emergency preparations for the depression

The Governor of Al-Mahra, Mohammed Ali Yasser, on Wednesday, held a meeting with the Emergency Committee, to discuss developments in the expected air depression in the coming days.
During the meeting, Yasser discussed the committee’s arrangements in recent days, in the governorate center and the districts, in order to raise the capabilities of hospitals and shelter centers, provide them with services, and clean flood drains.
The governor of Al-Mahra was instructed to take all precautionary measures in anticipation of the depression, and to work on preparing shelter centers and preparing hospitals, health centers, and mobile medical teams during rainfall.
He stressed the increase in security and military readiness to prepare heavy equipment to participate in rescue operations in anticipation of any emergency.
The Emergency Committee had previously suspended classes until next week, and ordered a ban on sailing as a precautionary measure to preserve the safety of students and fishermen.
