The Governor of Shabwa reviews the progress of the tax collection system

Awad bin Al-Wazir, Governor of Shabwa, on Sunday, paid an inspection visit to the Tax Authority branch in the governorate, and was briefed on the progress of the Authority’s activity and the challenges facing its work.
He listened from the Director of the Tax Authority Branch, Ahmed Abdullah Al-Hagal, to explanation about the work developments in the various departments and sections, and the level of revenue collection of various types, after it exceeded 6 billion riyals.
Bin Al-Wazir stressed the role of the Tax Authority, as a financial resource and main stream of revenues, calling for concerted efforts to enhance and develop collection levels to achieve the desired image.
He praised the level of performance of the Tax Authority branch in the governorate, and the efforts to improve tax revenues and strengthen the local economy, stressing his keenness to support the office’s efforts and facilitate its work.
