The Governor of Socotra receives head of the Bulgarian News Agency

Eng. Raafat Al-Thaqli, Governor of Socotra Archipelago governorate, received the President of the International Federation of International News Agencies, Kirill Valchev, Head of the Bulgarian News Agency, on Friday, during his arrival at the island’s airport on a tourist visit.

Governor Al-Thaqli expressed his wishes to Kirill for a happy stay on the island, stressing that the governorate is witnessing a distinguished tourist season due to its picturesque atmosphere and great potential for eco-tourism.

In turn, Kirill expressed his appreciation to Governor Raafat Al-Thaqali and his good reception and hospitality, pointing out that his visit to the island was touristic, to learn about its nature and unique biodiversity.
