The governor of the capital, Aden, discusses the hygiene fund program during the month of Ramadan

Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, Governor of the capital, Aden, on Tuesday, held a meeting with Director of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, Eng. Qaid Rashid Anam, in which they discussed preparations to welcome the holy month of Ramadan.
Lamlas stressed improving the level of cleanliness in the streets and neighborhoods of the capital, Aden, especially public markets and main streets, to welcome the month of Ramadan and its activities.
The meeting reviewed the fund’s plan for the holy month, its compatibility with changes in official working hours for the private sector, and increasing the number of transfers in anticipation of breakdowns and ensuring that waste collection work in the directorates does not stop.
The plan includes a program of work shifts to sweep and collect garbage around the clock, in the streets, beaches, public outlets, and recreational sites, and to raise the readiness of technical workshops.
The meeting ended with a number of measures, including opening a hotline for cleaning operations and deploying citizens to receive complaints, preparing maintenance teams for large locomotives, an emergency team to deal with breakdowns, and concentrating cleaning activities in shelter centers for displaced people and refugees, and collective breakfast centers.
