The Hadhrami uprising calls for a demonstration on Tuesday to denounce government’s corruption

The Hadramout Public Meeting Committee, Haru, and the leadership of the Second Hadrami uprising launched a call for peaceful popular escalation next Tuesday, July 11. to denounce the government’s corruption.

It called for denouncing the government’s continuous manipulation of the governorate’s financial resources in light of the deteriorating level of services for citizens, as it is expected that all districts of the coast and valley of Hadramout will witness an unprecedented escalation and popular momentum.

The popular movement in Hadramout comes to demand the basic rights of citizens in the oil-rich governorate, and to confirm the rejection of attempts to strip Hadramout from its southern identity.
