The Libyan National Army shot down 6 Turkish military aircraft
Major General Ahmed Al-Mesmari, a spokesman for the Libyan National Army, announced that the army had succeeded in shooting down 6 Turkish miraculous planes, which gunmen tried to launch an air operation against the Libyan National Army.
Al-Mesmari quoted the commander of the operations room of the western region of the Libyan National Army, led by Field Marshal Khalifa Hifter, that: “terrorist gangs tried to attack the national army forces using drones and striking more civilian targets.”
He added: “Radical reconnaissance operations are still continuing to seize the enemy hostile planes, and this confirms the airspace of the Libyan National Army.”
The Libyan National Army had announced earlier, in the words of Brigadier Khaled Al Mahjoub, Director of the Moral Guidance Department of the National Army, that all the positions of the Turkish forces are under the fire of the army.
This coincides with the announcement by the General Command of the Libyan National Army that a number of Turkish soldiers have been killed, but there has been no official comment from Turkey yet on the incident.
