The Minister of Agriculture visits the Gulf of Aden Fisheries Authority and inspects its facilities

Salem Abdullah Al-Soqatri, Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries, on Monday, in the capital, Aden, inspected the Gulf of Aden Fisheries Authority, expressing his keenness to protect economic and development facilities in the agricultural and fisheries sectors to advance their role.

During his visit, Al-Soqatri was briefed on the progress of the projects being implemented in the authority’s vital facilities, praising the efforts of its leadership and employees. He also inspected the rehabilitation work of the central workshop located on the authority’s fishing port campus.

The Minister of Agriculture was assured of the efforts to rehabilitate the health clinic, the levels of completion of the ongoing repairs, after the damage resulting from its cessation, and the availability of water and electricity sources for the continuity of providing its health services, after supplying it with medical equipment, and qualified medical and nursing staff, to care for the authority’s employees and employees of the fishery and agricultural sectors.

Al-Soqatri reviewed the work being carried out in the subsidized fish shop, which is scheduled to open its doors to employees of the Authority, the fishery and agricultural sectors, and citizens, and which is located in the Authority’s building.
