The Minister of Civil Service responds to issues of southern journalists

The Minister of Civil Service and Insurance, Dr. Abdel Nasser Al-Wali, at his office on Monday, in the capital, Aden, during his meeting with Mr. Aidarous Bahashwan, head of the Syndicate of Southern Journalists and Media Members, expressed his appreciation on the success of the first conference of southern journalists and media members.
In the meeting, Bahashwan reviewed a number of problems that professionals in media organizations suffer from due to low salaries and pensions in the career level for most journalists and media members, in addition to retirees.
Al-Wali expressed the ministry’s keenness for journalists and media members to receive their dues and settlements and improve their living conditions along with segments of employees and workers in the administrative apparatus.
Minister Al-Wali praised their tolerance over the past years, stressing his response to any grievances submitted by the Southern Journalists and Media Members Syndicate with the aim of correcting the conditions of the low-paid and pensionable group through coordination between the Ministry and the Syndicate and addressing them.
In turn, Bahashwan expressed the appreciation of southern journalists for the minister’s response to the problems of the profession’s affiliates in its various sectors, stressing the continuation of communication with the ministry in a way that would improve the conditions of journalists and media workers.
