The Minister of Social Affairs reviews final preparations for holding Southern Journalists Conference

The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zaouri, on Sunday, met in his office with Dr. Abdullah Al-Haw, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Conference of Southern Journalists and Media Members in Aden the capital, who briefed him on the final preparations for holding the conference on January 17 in the capital, Aden.
The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor got acquainted from Dr. Abdullah Al-Haw on the efforts made by the Preparatory Committee and the sub-committees during the last period to form a trade union framework that adopts the rights of journalists and media workers and strives to improve their conditions and work to promote freedom of opinion and expression.
Minister Al-Zaouri got briefed on the draft documents that will be presented to the conference, including the internal regulations, the press and media honor charter, and the analytical vision of the media march.
The meeting dealt with the awareness and cultural role played by journalists and the media to serve the goals of development and upgrading society.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Aidaroos Bahashwan, Vice Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Conference, and Mr. Nasr Baghraib, member of the Preparatory Committee for the Conference.
