The Minister of Transport discusses ways of coordination with Doctors Without Borders

The Minister of Transport, Dr. Abdul Salam Saleh Humaid, on Tuesday, in his office at the ministry’s headquarters in the capital, Aden met the head of the Dutch Doctors Without Borders mission, Tayla Mohammed.
The meeting discussed ways of coordination and to facilitate the organization’s relief and humanitarian work at land, sea and air ports.
Humaid said that the Iran-backed Houthi militia war had a significant negative impact on the activity of government institutions and economic facilities, and destroyed roads, infrastructure, health facilities and projects, reducing the purchasing power of society due to inflation, lack of job opportunities, and inability to obtain health services, food and fuel.
He pointed out the readiness of the Ministry and the government to provide joint cooperation and all facilities to facilitate the mission work and humanitarian activity, especially in airports and land and sea ports, pointing also to the stability in the capital, Aden, the governorates, airports, ports, and land ports.
The Minister of Transport indicated the possibility of delivering medical aid to all governorates without any difficulties or obstacles.
For his part, the head of the Doctors Without Borders mission expressed his appreciation to the Minister of Transport for his absolute cooperation with the organization and his appreciation for its relief and humanitarian work, pointing to the organization’s interventions through projects in all governorates.
