The Minister of Transport inspects the work of the Maritime Affairs Authority

The Minister of Transport, Abd al-Salam Humaid, expressed his support for the activities and projects of the Public Authority for Maritime Affairs, calling on the authority’s leadership, cadres and employees to perform the duties entrusted to them, and to complete studies, designs and proposals to improve the level of work performance.
During his visit to the authority’s headquarters, Minister Humaid got briefed on a presentation of the completed projects and works in the last period since the assignment of the new leadership of the authority, and the most prominent restoration work being carried out.
The minister expressed his satisfaction with the achievements in the field of training and rehabilitation, calling on all the Authority’s employees to adhere to job discipline and to preserve all its assets and properties.
In the visit to building, which is undergoing maintenance and restoration work, Humaid stressed that the Ministry stands with the Authority’s employees in their demands, far from disrupting the work interest.
Humaid concluded his visit with a cruise on board the boat (Zaqar) after its maintenance after stopping for more than 10 years, with technical support from the Gulf of Aden Ports Corporation.
