The Ministerial Economic Committee discusses improving revenues and ending recession

The Committee to Address the Economic, Financial and Monetary Conditions, which was formed on a decision issued by the Presidential Leadership Council, held, on Sunday a meeting in the capital, Aden, to discuss the challenges and necessary treatments to improve revenues and confront the economic and living deterioration.
The committee, with the participation of the Ministers of Finance, Industry and Trade, and Transport, Minister of State, Governor of Aden Ahmed Lamlas, and Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, discussed the priorities of the challenges and urgent required treatments.
The meeting dealt with the effects of the UN truce on the economic conditions and raise treatments that would improve them, in order to alleviate the suffering of civilians.
The meeting witnessed the presentation of arrays of proposals regarding the economic, financial and monetary reality, and the committee’s work plans within the government’s efforts aimed at improving the economic and living conditions of the population, stabilizing prices and the value of the currency and developing various revenues.
