The National Assembly demands organizational plans from southern relief organizations

Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri, Chairman of the National Assembly, held a meeting on Sunday, with civil society organizations at the level of the southern governorates, at the secretariat headquarters of the Southern Transitional Council, in the capital, Aden, in the presence of Fadel Al-Jaadi, Secretary-General of the Transitional Council.

Al-Kathiri expressed the Council’s keenness to stand by all southern organizations and institutions working in the relief and humanitarian aspect, and to learn about their work mechanism, stressing their support, empowerment, development and strengthening of their presence on the ground administratively, professionally and in relief, for those who opened horizons of cooperation with international and regional bodies.

He called on humanitarian and relief organizations and institutions at the level of the southern governorates to develop organizational plans and programs and carry out their work efficiently, and to fulfill their role in achieving sustainable development, and to develop solutions and treatments that address the problems and concerns of society.

Representatives of the organizations reviewed proposals to develop the work of southern relief and humanitarian institutions and organizations, and to establish real partnerships with international and regional organizations, away from organizations with political agendas hostile to the South.
