The National Authority for Southern Media holds its first meeting

The National Authority for Southern Media held its first meeting, today, Sunday, at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, headed by Mukhtar Al-Yafei, Vice Chairman of the Authority.
The meeting reviewed the regulations that are organizing the work of the authority and the assignments related to the work of the sectors falling under the umbrella of the authority, in which it was emphasized on the importance of those sectors to carry out their tasks according to the set plan.
The meeting discussed the plan presented by the media information office in the capital, Aden, regarding the importance of media outlets obtaining licenses to practice the profession and work, as well as ways to activate all media outlets, foremost of which are Aden News Agency, Aden Radio and Aden Television, and the October 14 newspaper.
The meeting affirmed the authority’s support for all the measures taken by the information office in the capital, which would contribute to the return of the capital, Aden, to its well-known position and its leading role.
The meeting called on the sectors under the authority to present their visions and plans, including the difficulties and challenges they face, to be presented and discussed at the next meeting.
