The National Southern Media Authority holds its periodic meeting headed by Al-Kathiri

The National Southern Media Authority, today, Wednesday, held its periodic meeting headed by Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, head of the authority.

The meeting reviewed the accomplished tasks and assignments approved in previous meetings, and the remaining unfulfilled tasks and assignments, and the reasons that prevented their completion.

The meeting discussed the future work plans submitted by the sectors affiliated with the authority, which included a comprehensive presentation of the activities and programs to be implemented during the coming period in each sector.

The attendees also discussed a number of proposals and visions on the mechanisms to launch the authority’s work and activate its role, and the role of the southern media, and the sectors affiliated with it, to ensure that it achieves the goals for which it was established.

The meeting discussed the Southern Dialogue to be launched during the corresponding phase upon the invitation of the President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, in which the Authority stressed the need for continuous media support for this important event, and assigning each sector to make its own plans in this regard.

The authority concluded its meeting by discussing a number of developments, topics and issues related to the work of the sectors and took the necessary measures in this regard.
