The National Southern Media Authority holds its periodic meeting with participation of Al-Bidh

The National Southern Media Authority (NSMA), on Sunday, held its periodic meeting in its headquarter in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafei, Vice-Chairman of NSMA, with the participation of the member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), the Special Representative of the President of STC for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Amr Al-Bidh.

In the meeting, which was attended by the Head of the Southern Journalists and Media Members Syndicate, Mr. Aidaroos Bahashwan, and a number of heads of sectors at NSMA, and heads of news websites and newspapers, Al-Bidh expressed his happiness at being with elite of southern media, praising the important roles played by the media in promoting the goals of the cause of the people of the South, and confronting the attempts to undermine these goals, by providing a broad explanation about the movements of STC externally, and its most prominent relations established, which was built upon the foundations and principles of the southern cause, and the victory for its justice.

For his part, Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafei delivered a speech in which he welcomed the Special Representative of the President of STC for Foreign Affairs, through which he introduced the Board of Directors of NSMA and its various media sectors, and its tasks and works through multimedia, indicating the keenness of NSMA to qualify the cadres of the South in the field of journalism and media to contribute in restoring the leading position of the southern media as it was.

The meeting reviewed aspects that share a close connection between the message of the southern media at the level of strengthening the status and presence of the cause of the people of the South internally and externally, and discussed a number of strategies that could contribute in that.
