The National Southern Media Authority stresses the need to advance activities of the year 2022

The National Southern Media Authority, on Tuesday, held its periodic meeting in the capital, Aden, headed by Mukhtar Al-Yafei, Vice Chairman of the Authority, head of the radio and television sector.
The meeting reviewed recent situation of media in the South, and discussed the main trends of the southern media during the coming period, stressing the importance of advancing the plans of the activities for the year 2022 to be distinguished in directing southern media work and in line with the requirements of the current stage and the interests of the people of the South.
The meeting discussed the status of the various sectors of the authority since its establishment and what it provided during the previous period, in addition to what must be done to develop media work related to the specializations of each sector.
The meeting was briefed on the preparations for the training course that the media department in the General Secretariat is preparing to implement in coordination with the training and rehabilitation sector in the authority for members of the media departments in the local leaderships in the governorates of Al-Dhalea and Shabwa, and was briefed on the arrangements that has been made for the successful implementation of the course.
The authority reviewed a number of issues related to the southern media and developments on the southern arena, and also reviewed the minutes of its previous meeting and approved it.
