The Presidency of STC calls on Prime Minister to intervene quickly to stop fabricated crisis of oil derivatives in local market

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), on Sunday held a meeting, headed by Mr. Fadl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council.

The meeting discussed the local situation, foremost of which is the fabricated crisis of oil derivatives in the local market, through which figures of the powerful forces aim to continue the pressure for the purpose of continuing their control of its prices to achieve private personal gains, and to satisfy their desires at the expense of citizens, calling in this regard, the Prime Minister of the Government of power-sharing to intervene urgently to stop this fabricated crisis and restore stability to the local market.

The meeting also reviewed the reasons for the decline in the value of the local currency exchange rate cost, after the remarkable improvement that has occurred over the past weeks, stressing in this regard that the fabricated rise in foreign currency exchange rate goes in the context with what a limited number of money figures are doing out of greed, stressing the need for the government of power-sharing and the Central Bank to take effective and urgent measures to prevent further manipulation of the currency rate, and to restrain the desires of financial speculators.

In another context, the Presidency saluted the heroes of the Southern Giants Forces, and Shabwa Defense Forces and all their sons, who made huge sacrifices to liberate the districts of Bayhan from the Houthi militia, and to impose security and stability throughout its districts.

The Presidency warned against continuing military and intelligence mutual serving between the Brotherhood’s forces and the Houthi militia to undermine these victories, calling for speedy removal of the rest of them from Shabwa and other governorates of the South to the frontlines, as stipulated in the Riyadh Agreement.

The Presidency also discussed a number of other organizational issues on its agenda and took the necessary measures in this regard.
