The Presidency of STC warns of suspicious movements led by Ibrahim Haidan in Wadi Hadramout

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) warned of suspicious movements led by the so-called Ibrahim Haidan, the Minister of Interior in the power-sharing government, in the regions of Wadi Hadramout, that aimed at causing strife in those regions, calling on the Prime Minister to put an end to these actions and moves that threaten consensus and establish a new dispute.

The Presidency, in its meeting held on Monday, headed by Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, the Secretary-General of the Presidency of the STC, Governor of the capital, Aden, stood before the reckless behavior led by the so-called Minister of Interior in the valley regions of Hadramout, foremost of which is his recruitment of thousands of pro-Brotherhood elements, and opening offices in the name of the Ministry of Interior in Seiyun, squandering the budget of the ministry and spending it illegally outside the items allocated to it, and directing the Brotherhood’s militias to attack the Hadrami uprising checkpoints in Al-Khasha’a, and the responses to stir up sedition and to push towards aggravating the situation.

In its meeting, the Presidency praised the popular movements in Shabwa governorate rejecting the establishment of any Yemeni entities in the South, expressing its honor and pride for the free national will and the solid stance expressed by the mass mobilization that Ataq witnessed last Saturday, rejecting those unwanted projects, which our people early rejected and resisted it, and submitted for the sake of salvation of it convoys of martyrs, wounded and detainees.

In its meeting, the Presidency also discussed a number of issues on its agenda and took the appropriate measures regarding each of them.
