The Prime Minister directs to improve services provided to citizens at Aden International Airport

The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, on Saturday evening, conducted an inspection tour at Aden International Airport and checked on its service facilities, and was briefed on the level of services provided to citizens and the general travelers at the airport.

This came after the arrival of the Prime Minister at Aden International Airport, coming from the city of Jeddah, following a short visit during which he held discussions with Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to discuss the prospects for strong fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields, and opportunities available for its growth and development.

During his inspection tour of the airport facilities, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak listened to citizens’ opinions, complaints, and evaluations of the services available at the airport, in which he directed to take the comments and suggestions submitted by citizens and respond to them seriously.

The Prime Minister discussed with airport services officials and employees the workflow, existing challenges, and aspects of coordination required to enhance the services provided to departures and arrivals at Aden International Airport.

Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak issued several directives related to improving and developing the services provided to citizens and facilitating the movement of departure and arrival, stressing the need to find radical and urgent solutions to the obstacles that hinder the provision of an integrated and exemplary service in this vital facility, which is an essential interface for Aden and Yemen in general.

The Prime Minister listened to an explanation from airport officials about the work and conduct of air traffic, the level of services provided to passengers, and the efforts made to develop performance, increase flights, improve services, and facilitate departure and arrival at the airport.

During his inspection visit, Prime Minister was accompanied by the Chairman of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, Captain Salem bin Nahid, the Director of Aden International Airport, Abdul Raqeeb Al-Omari, and Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, Eng. Anis Baharitha.
